About this Event
Join us for an intimate and thought-provoking evening at Eat My Words, featuring Dr. Sarah L. Webb, writer, educator, and founder of Colorism Healing, discussing her powerful book, Colorism: The Politics of Skin Tone and How We Get Free.
More than a conversation about skin tone, Colorism explores the ways colorism shows up in our families, relationships, workplaces, media, and communities, and what it takes to begin healing from it. Through research, personal stories, and real-world experiences, Dr. Sarah invites us to examine the biases we inherit, the harm they can cause, and how we can begin creating something different.
What to Expect:
Live Reading + Book Discussion
