We’re about to embark on our new Oceans Sanctuaries campaign, which we’re timing for the launch of the BBC’s Blue Planet III series, to really capture people’s passion for our oceans and turn this into action. Being a seaside town, we care deeply about seeing that our marine ‘protected’ areas are properly protected. We’re also at the forefront of the risks of coastal flooding from climate change driven sea rise, putting our local community at risk. If you care about these issues too then please join us and get involved in the activities we are planning.
Eastbourne Greenpeace is a proactive, inclusive and energising group, supporting a range of local, national and international campaigns through awareness raising, events, talks and action. If you care about nature, biodiversity and a peaceful, hopeful future then you’ll find like-minded, can-do people here – we look forward to meeting you!
