Most people have heard of their sun sign, moon sign, or rising sign through Western astrology. But many are less familiar with Jyotish, the Vedic astrology tradition — and why someone’s chart may look different depending on which system is being used.
In this one-hour guided conversation, we’ll explore Western and Vedic astrology side by side as two different lenses for understanding the self, life patterns, timing, relationships, purpose, and personal growth.
This is not about deciding which system is better. It is about understanding how each tradition approaches the birth chart, what each one can help illuminate, and which path you may feel called to explore more deeply.
You’ll hear from practitioners rooted in both traditions and have space to explore questions such as:
• Why might my Western and Vedic signs be different?
• What does Western astrology tend to emphasize?
• What does Vedic astrology / Jyotish tend to emphasize?
• How can astrology be used as a mirror for self-awareness?
• How can these systems support life transitions, timing, relationships, and personal growth?
• Which path might I want to explore more deeply?
This workshop is perfect for anyone who is astrology-curious, familiar with Western astrology, curious about Vedic astrology, or simply interested in using ancient wisdom as a tool for self-discovery and aligned living.
