Held, generally, in and around the Exe Estuary and the Jurassic Coast, this 3 day block normally looks at the following:However it normally breaks down as:
A short first day of coaching on the Exe/seafront. Making sure everyone is set up for the period.
A journey with a shuttle. Normally a journey such as Exmouth to Sidmouth or indeed Teignmouth.
A day in the Exe Estuary looking at tidal planning. Lots of stopping to look at what's happening.
A repeat of the above but the participants plan the trip - this could be from Totnes on the tidal Dart instead.
A session looking at rescues and incident management to finish which is normally a half day so folk can travel.
