A proper East Coast kitchen party is coming to The Branch and everyone’s welcome!Join us Saturday, December 5, for an afternoon and night of music, supper, dancing and a little mummering.
The music
• From 4 pm, the Kitchen Party Jam. Bring your acoustic guitar, accordion, fiddle, spoons, tambourine or ugly stick and join in!
• 6–6:45 p.m. — East Coast Connection.
• 7–11 p.m. — Our headliners, Cobby’s Kitchen Party.
• 11 p.m.–1 a.m. — A DJ keeps the party going.
Supper included, served at 5:30 p.m.
Choose fish and chips or Newfoundland steak (fried bologna). Please tell us your meal choice when purchasing your ticket.
Make an ugly stick
The workshop starts at 4 p.m., with just 25 places available. Call The Branch to reserve your workshop place separately from your admission ticket.
Come dressed as a mummer, or bring some clothes to put together your disguise! During the evening, we’ll award prizes for the best mummer costume and the “ugliest” ugly stick made at this event.
Already have an ugly stick? Bring it along for the music!
