About this Event

Join the Working Class Climate Alliance and Degrowth London who are co-hosting a screening of Abby Martin's new documentary, Earth's Greatest Enemy.

Earth’s Greatest Enemy reveals a hidden truth behind the climate crisis: the role of the U.S. military as the world’s largest institutional polluter, tracing the link between war, empire, and ecological destruction. Drawing on powerful testimonies from veterans, scientists, and frontline communities, it uncovers how military operations poison ecosystems, accelerate global warming, and sacrifice the future for endless expansion. From Alaska’s melting glaciers to contaminated bases across the U.S. and toxic battlefields abroad, Earth’s Greatest Enemy delivers a provocative and unflinching examination of the untouchable institution playing an outsized role in the climate crisis.

Watch the trailer here.

After the screening, there will be time for relaxed conversation about the documentary with fellow attendees. Snacks will be provided. LARC does permit alcohol on the premises, so feel free to bring a couple of beers for yourself if you'd like!

Proceeds from the solidarity and super solidarity tickets will be evenly split between the documentary makers and LARC (minus Eventbrite fees).
