This organization isn’t only about having fun, meeting new friends, getting fit, but it’s also about growing in our faith and being in the hands and feet of Christ and giving back to the community one person at a time. We are partnering with Fox River Church in Waukesha for their monthly second Saturday serves volunteer opportunity event. You are asked to meet at 8:15 AM in the front lobby and you have four different volunteer opportunities to choose from once you get there please RSVP for this event in a separate group chat will be created to stay connected. Hope to see you and let’s have fun giving him back! Waukesha Venues:
* Oakhill Terrace Nursing Home: Spend time visiting with residents and playing games. This is a great venue for families to serve - the residents truly enjoy these visits with children. We will also have a sing along in the memory care unit, also a great time.
* Waukesha Food Pantry: Help assemble orders and distribute food to their clients. (You must be 16 to volunteer here, or 13 with parent/guardian.) Closed toe shoes are required.
* Hope Center: Helping them in their Clothing Shop - sorting/hanging clothing and assisting their clients.
* Misfits for Jesus: Helping them organize items in their warehouse so they can quickly distribute clothing to those in need.
