Join for an early voting and drop-box visibility and awareness event at the Erie County Courthouse! We’ll gather on the sidewalks near the courthouse.
In-person mail-ballot voting at the Erie County Courthouse HAS BEGUN starting September 28. This allows eligible voters to apply for, receive, complete, and return a mail ballot in a single visit. Remember to bring ID* (it will expedite your process).
Can I still vote early in-person if I already signed up to vote by mail?
Yes, if you already requested a mail-in ballot, you can still vote early in-person!
Instead of waiting for your ballot to be mailed to you, go to your county elections office (or a satellite office, if applicable) to request a mail-in ballot in person and vote early on the spot.
Whether you vote by mail, drop your mail-ballot at the drop box (recommended), vote early at the courthouse (recommended), or go to your polling place on election day, make your plan to vote now to make your voice heard.
UPDATE: EARLY VOTING HAS BEGUN ON 9/28!
9/28 - Tentative first day to vote in person by on-demand mail ballot at the Voter Registration office
10/19 - Deadline to register to vote or update voter registration
10/27 - Deadline to apply for a mail ballot or vote on-demand mail ballot (in person)
11/3 - General Election Day
11/3 - 8:00 p.m. deadline to
submit Absentee or Mail-In ballot
in dropbox. (Mail-in ballots must
be received by 8pm)
