Join us for the launch of Otherwise, the 14th anthology created through 100 Story Building’s Early Harvest youth publishing program.

The event will include a short welcome, an author talk by bestselling author of the Zac Power series, Hilary Badger, readings from the book and a chance to meet the young contributors. Families, teachers and colleagues are all warmly welcome, so please feel free to bring guests. Drop-in for some fun, zine-making workshops for children in the library following the event!
The launch event will run for approximately 45-60 minutes. Drop-in zine-making workshops for children will run in the adjacent workshop space from 12:30pm-2:30pm.
Celebrate this remarkable achievement with the young editors and creators of the anthology at a free public launch at Bunjil Place Library.
Please note:
- All attendees under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult throughout the event.
- Please register a ticket for every person attending, including children and accompanying adults. Each attendee’s details must be entered individually during registration.
About the book
Every story in this year's Early Harvest anthology is a map to somewhere that doesn't quite exist.
This collection features impossible places, curious cartographies, and the very best stories dreamed up by young authors for an audience of their peers.
Young editors, mentored by bestselling author Hilary Badger and publishing industry professionals, have assembled a collection of worldbuilding tales over a yearlong writing project. The collection includes extraordinary stories, artwork and poems created by young Australian writers between the ages of 8 and 12, alongside a story by contributing guest author Hilary Badger.
