Día de los Muertos is such a beautiful tradition centered around remembering and honoring the people we love who have passed away. I’d love to welcome you into my home, a space where our community can come together, learn, remember, and celebrate the lives of those who came before us.
Guests are welcome to bring a small photograph or small memento of someone they would like to honor and add to the ofrenda.
Tickets will be $10 per person with limited availability. First come, first served. Reach out to me directly to purchase your ticket(s).
Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive the address and parking instructions privately.
This will be a come-and-go gathering, so you can stop by anytime during the event. Stay for a few minutes or stay awhile. There are no formalities or pressure to stay the entire time. Just come as you are!
This event includes:
🌼 A culturally meaningful experience
🌻 An ofrenda with papel picado and marigold garlands I grew from seed
🌼 Fresh flowers: nube, cempasúchil, claveles, gladiolas, and crisantemos.
🌻 Candlelight
🌼 Pan de muerto
🌻 Chocolate caliente
🌼 Agua de jamaica
🌻 Calavera(s)
🌼 I am working on music! If you know of an acoustic guitarist who might be interested in playing, please send them my way!
🌻 I would also love to have a makeup artist or face painter on site for those who wish to celebrate with color. Reach out if you know someone who may have interest. 🙂
🌼 Photographer(s) will be on site to capture the evening.
🚫📷 NO PERSONAL PHOTOGRAPHY 🚫❗️
Friendly reminder that this is a private residence. Please put your phone down. Be present. Be respectful.
This is my home, and my ofrenda will also include memories of my own loved ones who are no longer here. Día de los Muertos is a cultural celebration of both death and life, and I ask that we treat the space, the ofrenda, and the memories being honored with the respect they deserve.
The photographer(s) on site will be more than happy to take your picture! 🙂
Dress up if you wish, but this is certainly not required to attend. If you have any questions about cultural appreciation or appropriation, please reach out. I am happy to have the conversation. 💛
I’m looking forward to opening my home and sharing this tradition with our community. 🕯️
