About this Event
Día de los Muertos: Cacao Ceremony & Sound Bath
An evening of remembrance, ritual, community, and sound.
Join us for a special Día de los Muertos-inspired evening honoring the lives, memories, and love of those who came before us.
We’ll begin by gathering around a community ofrenda (altar), lovingly adorned with marigolds, candles, and offerings. Guests are invited to bring a photograph, handwritten note, flowers, or another small meaningful item representing a loved one who has passed to add to our shared altar.
Together, we’ll then move into a cacao ceremony, sharing cacao with intention as we create space for reflection, gratitude, connection, and remembrance. Through guided meditation, we’ll honor our ancestors and loved ones, reflect on the ways their presence continues within us, and offer gratitude for the lives and stories that came before our own.
Following the cacao ceremony, you’ll be invited to lie back and receive an immersive sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, gong, chimes, and other healing instruments.
Inspired by the spirit of Día de los Muertos, this gathering is not only a space for grief, but a celebration of life, love, memory, and legacy—an opportunity to remember those we love while surrounded by community.
Community Ofrenda
Guests are invited to contribute to our community ofrenda, a shared altar created as a space for remembrance, grief, release, and honoring.
Your offering may represent a loved one who has passed, or it may symbolize something you are grieving or feel ready to let go of—a relationship, chapter of life, past version of yourself, experience, or anything else you wish to honor and release.
You are welcome to bring a photograph, handwritten letter or note, flowers, or another small meaningful object to place on the altar at the beginning of the evening.
Your offering will remain on the community altar throughout the cacao ceremony and sound bath. At the conclusion of the sound bath, you will collect your offering and take it home with you.
Together, our offerings will create a temporary sacred space to honor what has been, acknowledge what we carry, and create room for what comes next.
What to Bring
Please bring an altar offering, yoga mat, blanket, pillow, water, and anything else you need to feel cozy and supported during the sound bath.
Come with an open heart and someone you wish to remember.
All are welcome.
