NOTES FOR ARTISTS

Unplugged (no backing track): Since this is anunplugged music and poetry night we will not play backing tracks or instrumental. We ask that artists perform an acoustic version of their songs. You can use any instruments on the stage. We also have in-house band - if the song is common/easy to pick up, we can ask the band to play while you perform. This can only be requested when you arrive. When you sign up to perform, you will be asked if you would like to perform with the band.

Tech specs: We recommend that you take a look at Red Bird's tech specs. You can find it here.

Since Red Bird is a music school, there is also a list of instruments you can use for your performance. Piano, mic, acoustic guitar, ukulele, drums, upright bass - All are available to use.

Sign up and check-In: When you arrive at the venue, please let us know that you woud like to perform. There will be a sign up sheet at registration. If you change your mind during the evening, let one of Hors Pair team members know and we'll remove you from the list.

Performances: The performers are in no particular order. Before your performances the host will call you up using your perferred or artist name. Please note, in the interest of time, we do not do sound checks for the open-mic artists.
