For nearly two decades, Día de los Muertos Murphys has brought our community together through a beautiful tradition of remembrance—honoring our loved ones through the stories, photographs, flowers, music, art, and ofrendas that keep their memories alive.
Día de los Muertos reminds us that those we love remain part of our lives through the stories we tell, the traditions we carry forward, and the memories we share.
Throughout historic Murphys, visitors will discover beautiful ofrendas, art, music, cultural traditions, and special experiences celebrating the meaning and spirit of Día de los Muertos.
This community tradition has special roots at Bodega del Sur Winery, where the idea for Día de los Muertos Murphys first began. During this year’s celebration, visitors may also stop by the winery to see the 2026 Día de los Muertos Limited Edition Wine, featuring original artwork by artist Arnold Plasencia.
But most of all, we invite you to come to Murphys to experience the tradition.
