Our Move & Connect this month will focus on essentialism: figuring out what actually matters between now and December 31, and what you can close out or let go of instead of carrying it into next year. Alicia Jabbar is leading us through it, picking up some of the work we’d planned for October, while keeping the fun, easy energy Move & Connect is known for.

Before anything else: we know so many of us are still heartbroken after what happened in our community, and we’re still being gentle with ourselves and with each other. Watching this community show up for those families, and for one another, has continued to be incredible.
We’re really looking forward to being in a room with you all in a couple of weeks.
This quarter, we’ve been talking about slowing down at the right moments, and that feels more true now than when we first chose the theme. The end of the year has a way of filling up fast, with more asks, more half-finished projects and the pressure to wrap everything up at once. In November, we want to make some room.
We’re doing networking a little differently this time. Instead of quick one-on-one rotations, you’ll move through small groups. That leaves enough time in each round for a real conversation and makes it easier to hear each other. Our Ask and Offer board is back too, with time set aside to write yours before the groups start. Come thinking about one thing you need help closing out this year and one thing you can offer someone else.
