Creativity thrives as campers explore their artistic abilities, play games, and make lasting friendships at Dutchess Arts Camp! Enjoy beautiful outdoor spaces, ceramic kilns, a theater, art studios, and other creative spaces! The theme for Week 1 is Patterns & Pirates! Discover the vast sea of colors and shapes in this pattern and pirate-filled week! Students will perform silly sea shanties, paint polka-dot pirate portraits, craft ceramic sea creatures, collaborate on giant patterned coral reef murals, and discover buried treasure!
Our experienced and friendly counselors and teaching artists support fun, hands-on art-making with various mediums including painting, sculpture, ceramics, collage, animation, and performance, based on engaging weekly camp themes. The pieces created at camp will portray your child's individuality, tapping into each camper’s specific interests.
A final showcase each Friday will display all of the campers’ artwork and show off their learned performances to friends and family. Daily schedules include opening and closing circles, structured art instruction, snacks, lunch, and outside play.
