Hudson Valley Riders, Inc. is proud to announce the Summer 2026 session of the Street Scholar Mentorship Program (SSMP). This isn't just a parking lot class—it is a comprehensive mentorship journey designed to bridge the gap between "passing the test" and "ruling the road."
For a single $150 scholarship fee, our Scholars receive a complete training package valued at over $500.
The SSMP 4-Step Journey:
THE SEMINAR (July 11): Join us at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital for an intensive theory and safety seminar. You and your mentor will earn your Stop The Bleed clinical certification and receive professional-grade trauma kits for your bikes.
THE RANGE (July 18-19): We pay for and schedule your MSF Basic RiderCourse. You’ll spend two days on the range with certified instructors earning your licensing waiver.
THE ROAD TO 500: The real learning happens here. You will log 500 miles of real-world riding with your dedicated Mentor, building the habits that keep you safe for a lifetime.
THE LICENSE: Once your 500-mile log is complete and verified, we release your voucher so you can head to the DMV for your full endorsement.

Requirements to Join:
- Valid NYS Motorcycle Learner’s Permit.
- Your own motorcycle (registered/insured).
- Full safety gear (Helmet, Gloves, Boots, Jacket).
- A dedicated Mentor (Licensed rider to supervise your 500 miles).
