About this Event
Ever wondered about the true history of s'mores? Come enjoy one for yourself in the gardens behind the Ivy Bookshop while hearing from Dustin Renwick, whose writing on this very subject is published in this annual volume of food and travel writing, selected by renowned chef José Andrés.
We'll break out the Ivy's new solo stove and have ourselves a real bonfire storytime!

Dustin Renwick pursues stories that are complex, surprising, and require expansive archival research—especially any stories with connections to the Midwest and Great Lakes. His words and images have appeared in National Geographic, The Washington Post, and Outside, and his most recent book is Beyond the Gray Leaf, the biography of a forgotten Civil War poet. Dustin sends short monthly notes about all things archives at www.archivalmagic.com.
Flannery Fox is a master's degree student in Towson University’s Occupational Therapy program. She lives in Hampden.
