Summary of the adventure
The Forest of Eil takes place in a remote region of eastern Faerûn, several days' travel from the nearest known settlements.
Having known one another for years, the party has decided to leave the familiar comforts of home behind and venture into the wider world, seeking fame, fortune, or perhaps a little of both.
During their travels, the party finds itself within a strange and enchanted forest, where towering trees grow close together and the dense canopy obscures much of the sky. After some searching, they discover a small clearing with several paths leading deeper into the woodland.
With no obvious route back and the promise of adventure ahead, the party must explore the surrounding forest, uncover its secrets and face whatever dangers lie hidden beneath the trees. Along the way, they may find unexpected allies, curious treasures and something far more mysterious than they ever anticipated.
