Dumpling All the Way Cake ClassCreate the cutest little Christmas dumpling cake, complete with an adorable personality and festive details that are almost too precious to eat!
What You'll Create
Each student will create and decorate one 6-inch Christmas dumpling cake, transforming a traditional round cake into an adorable dimensional dumpling complete with its signature pleated shape, sweet little face, and festive holiday accents.
We'll be working with butter vanilla cake and smooth, velvety Swiss meringue buttercream, along with fondant, modeling chocolate, and other edible decorative elements to bring our Christmas dumpling to life.
Please note: The image shown is our inspiration for this class. The final student design may vary slightly as we adapt the concept into a real, fully edible cake. Actual class photos will be posted once the final cake design is completed.
What You'll Learn
This class will focus on creating a fun, dimensional novelty cake while introducing students to several cake decorating techniques:
How to properly fill, stack, crumb coat, and decorate a 6-inch cake
How to work with Swiss meringue buttercream
How to shape and sculpt a cake to create a dimensional design
How to create the recognizable dumpling shape and pleated texture
How to work with fondant and modeling chocolate
How to create simple modeled accents and facial features
How to add texture, dimension, and small details that bring a character cake to life
How to combine different edible decorating mediums into one cohesive finished design
Students will be guided step-by-step through transforming their cake into an adorable Christmas dumpling while learning techniques that can be applied to other novelty and character cakes.
Ticket Options
Student Ticket — $85
For one student age 12 or older. Includes one 6-inch cake and all supplies needed to complete the project.
Parent & Me Ticket — $100
For one adult (18+) and one child ages 8–11 to work together on one 6-inch cake. This is a shared project and includes one cake and one set of supplies for the pair.
Children ages 12 and older must purchase their own Student Ticket.

Ticket Policy (Please Read Before Purchasing)
All class tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason at any time. This includes cancellations, schedule conflicts, no-shows, late arrivals, illness, or failure to meet class requirements.
By purchasing a ticket, you are reserving a seat in class. Supplies are purchased, prepared, and portioned specifically for each student. Labor is involved in advance preparation and many materials cannot be reused once prepared.
If you cannot attend, you may request a one-time transfer with at least 48 hours notice if space allows, but this is not guaranteed.
Failure to meet class requirements or follow class policies may result in denial of participation without refund.
