Hey homies! While the city and the high-speed rail folks do what they unfortunately do best and make plans that do the worst for our small businesses, we can still do our part in supporting local, especially folks that have worked and cared so hard to bring diversity, uniqueness, quality, and character to this city.
PLEASE READ:
I'm organizing this as a recurring so Y'ALL can grab the baton as desired. Of course I or anyone else cannot make it every week, but hopefully y'all can taste and see what community collaboration looks like ;)
So while this is set to Saturdays, by all means feel free to post other days/times to coordinate with folks. Who knows, you may have a good time and see something new as a result ;)
The basics:
-Meet @ Tower Theatre 9:30-10:00a on bike, scooter, or car if you're driving. Those doing bus routes-coordinate with other bus folks! Rides are fun together.
-Kickstands up/carpools out at 10
-Meet downtown/chinatown at selected businesses and eateries(or hell, the park).
-Enjoy! Commune! Discover!
-Then go demand of city leaders what we want for our city.
Suggestion or additional ideas? Feel free to reach out.
Keep it fun, keep it SAFE. Should go without saying, but no racists, bigots, chomos, overly inebriated folks, or any other element that compromises the well being and safety of the group. Use your discretion, and don't invite anyone you wouldn't trust at a personal gathering.
