You are warmly invited to this deep retreat of Ancestral Honouring over the weekend of Samhain. We’ll be resting in the holy lap of darkened skies, listening the memory of water, the dream of the forest, the songs of frost & fire, the ancient starlit tracks of the reindeer road.
We’ll be crafting Drums, Rattles & Medicine Shields from beautiful traditionally hand prepared Norwegian Reindeer hides.
We’ll be working with prayer, wood & leather within in a circle of homecoming, nourishing the indigenous soul & the heart of belonging, Dorrie will be bringing songs, poems & words as lullabies & medicine, to nurture our our ancestral memory & connection, aswell as 30 years of practical experience on this drum making road.
Marit will be hosting us in her beautiful & spacious home in the forest by a beautiful lake to have the nature support our work.
This work is nourishing, engaging & deeply rewarding. All are welcome. No experience is necessary but it does require full use of both hands & we’ll be working on floor level. Please jet us know if this isn’t accessible for you & we’ll do our best to support & accommodate you.
Main meals for the weekend are provided and some accommodation is available.
Timing:
Friday 30th: 5pm-9pm
Saturday 31th: 9.30am-9.30pm
Sunday 1st: 10am-4pm
Price is 5800,-
