Drum Circle & Sacred Chants is a participatory class in a ceremonial setting, centered around rhythm, voice, presence, and connection 💛Together, we sit and arrive through breath and intention, to use the drum and sacred chanting as activating tools to awaken the mind, body and spirit. To move energy, and reconnect with the deeper rhythm within ourselves.
The drum can become a heartbeat, if you invite it in. It can be grounding when life feels scattered, carrying us when we need movement, and joyful when we allow ourselves to be free. The drum and reminds us that we do not have to navigate everything from the mind alone.
This class is not about performing or having a “good” voice. It is about learning to listen, to participate, to feel rhythm in the body, and to become more comfortable using your own voice. Some evenings may be more meditative, others more playful or activating. We allow the gathering to be shaped by the season, the chant, the people present, and what is alive in the room.
Ceremonial cacao is shared as part of our way of arriving together, dedicated to Mother Earth for gifting us life and a moment to connect and ask her your heart-felt questions. We first tune ourselves at the level of the heart, then welcome the rhythms of life with the drums and the chosen chant.
You are welcome to sing, drum, sit quietly, meditate, or simply receive. No previous experience with drumming or chanting is needed.
