About this Event
Come and get creative in the Farm Shop at 5 Acre Farm, Backwell, with a relaxed afternoon of wreath making using beautiful dried flowers grown and carefully preserved right here on the farm.
Our team will guide you through creating your own colourful dried flower wreath, with all the materials you need provided. No experience necessary - just come ready to get stuck in. You’ll leave with your finished wreath to hang at home, plus hopefully a new skill or two. Hot drinks will be provided to keep you going, too.
ARRIVAL + GETTING HERE
The workshop takes place in our Farm Shop at 5 Acre Farm, Pit Lane, West Town, Bristol, BS48 3BQ.
We have a small customer car park, so please car share where possible. If the car park is full, please park safely on Kellways or elsewhere in Backwell. The farm is also accessible by public transport.
Please arrive in good time so we can get everyone settled and start the workshop together.
WHAT TO WEAR
We’re a working farm, so dress for the weather and don’t wear anything you’re too precious about! Sturdy, closed-toe footwear is recommended, along with warm layers during the colder months. The ground around the farm can get muddy and uneven when it’s wet.
A FEW BITS TO KNOW
Please take care when moving around the farm and follow any instructions from our team. As this is a hands-on workshop, we’ll be using floristry tools and materials, so please use these as demonstrated and let a member of the team know if you need any help.
Most importantly, come ready to slow down, get creative and spend a couple of hours surrounded by flowers. All materials are provided, and you’ll head home with your very own dried wreath.
