About the Curriculum:

The "Dress for Success: Monthly Career Readiness Workshop" program includes a series of workshops designed to build a comprehensive understanding of fashion, styling, and grooming.

Our Dress for Success: Monthly Career Readiness Workshops at Don Morphy’s Dallas showroom offer young participants more than just practical career preparation—they provide direct access to real-world insights from dynamic speakers and hands-on learning experiences. Each month, participants engage with three speakers who bring unique perspectives, creating a holistic environment that fosters both personal and professional growth.

One of the key speakers is Dacyn Mofor, son of our founder Daniel Mofor and fashion director at Don Morphy. Dacyn offers essential fashion tips, teaching participants how to tie a tie and bowtie, while sharing other practical styling tricks. His guidance is not only instructional but also relatable, showing that confidence and professionalism can be cultivated at a young age.

In addition to Dacyn, a young entrepreneur speaks at each session, sharing their journey of starting a business early in life. Their stories of overcoming challenges, building networks, and pursuing their passion provide practical advice and inspiration for participants to think ambitiously about their own futures.

The third speaker is an established professional or entrepreneur who contributes seasoned insights on workplace etiquette, leadership, and long-term career development. This speaker bridges the gap between early career challenges and sustained professional success, providing guidance on how to navigate and grow in a competitive environment.

These workshops empower participants to build a solid foundation in personal style, learn to navigate various dress codes, master professional attire, and understand the essentials of grooming and confidence-building. Each month’s workshop reinforces the lessons from the previous session, creating a cohesive, progressive learning experience. By the end of the series, participants are well-equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to dress stylishly and appropriately for any occasion, leaving them prepared to make lasting impressions and excel in their professional journeys.

Mission:

This workshop strives to educate and inspire teenagers to embrace fashion as a tool for self-expression and confidence-building. Through interactive workshops and guidance, we aim to teach essential styling techniques, foster creativity, and instill a sense of personal empowerment, ensuring every participant feels confident and stylish in their own skin.

Vision:

This workshop envisions a generation of empowered teenagers who confidently express their unique personalities through fashion, equipped with the knowledge and creativity to dress up for any occasion with style and flair.

Objective:

This workshop aims to empower teenagers by teaching them essential skills and strategies for dressing up confidently and stylishly, fostering self-expression and personal confidence through fashion exploration.
