Dreamer: One Woman and a Piano with Janice Robinson (Friday Show)

House icon Janice Robinson, the original voice behind Livin’ Joy is taking to the Connections stage for an intimate solo performance. If Dreamer or Don’t Stop Movin’ ever found you at the right time on the dancefloor, you already know what this is about.

From Number One Hit 'Dreamer', to be handpicked by Tina Turner to perform, to her collaborations with David Morales and Ministry of Sound, Janice Robinson has a story to tell about her life in music. While Tik Tok brought her to a whole new generation in 2026, this intimate piano cabaret will take will take you on her own journey of Love, Live and Laughter.

Janice is back at Connections with live vocals, big hooks and a piano to boot! She'll be delivering the kind of connection that only comes from an artist who can tap into the emotion and freedom at the heart of their music!

Two nights only. Come for the love, stay for the classics.

Showtime 7.30pm.

Tickets to Dreamer also guarantee you all night entry to Decadance at Connections Nightclub.

We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land we are operating on, the Whadjuk people and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. We wish to acknowledge and respect their continuing culture and the contribution they make to the life of this city and this region. We pay our respects to them and their cultures; and to elders both past and present.
