Denver Roller Derby Skate-a-Thon: Roll with Us for a Great Cause! We’re thrilled to announce the 5th Denver Roller Derby Skate-a-Thon on November 7th from 4-7pm, a fun-filled event where all of our teams come together to raise funds for our Skater Hardship Fund and building improvements! This is your chance to support the skaters in the league you love, cheer them on, and help us keep rolling strong!
What’s a Skate-a-Thon?
Think of it as a marathon but on wheels! Our skaters will be skating their hearts out over a set time or distance, and we need YOUR support to make every lap count. Friends, family, and fans can pledge donations based on the distance a skater completes or give a fixed amount just for joining in on the fun.
How to Donate
● Per-Lap Pledge: Pick your favorite skater (or two or three!) and pledge an amount for every lap they complete during the Skate-a-Thon. The more they skate, the more we raise!
● Flat Donation: Want to keep it simple? Make a flat donation to the league in support of the cause, and we’ll make sure your contribution goes directly toward our goals.
Donate Online with GiveButter!
We’ve made donating super easy—just head over to our Givebutter page to contribute! Each skater will have their own individual page, making it super simple for you to find and support your favorite skater directly. You can donate through their page, leave an encouraging message, and even share their link with friends and family to spread the word!
Why Donate?
Your donation will help us continue to build a strong, inclusive, and supportive community here at Denver Roller Derby. The Skater Hardship Fund makes it possible for teammates facing financial challenges to stay on the track.
How to Get Involved
⭐ Friends & Family: Cheer on your favorite skaters and help spread the word! The more, the merrier—and the more funds we raise! Stop on by the Rollerdome, to cheer on our skaters, or watch our livestream on Twitch — let’s roll for a cause!
