Classes will include drawing from live arranged setups as well as instruction on effectively using photographic reference images. Principles of composition, page layout, and framing considerations will also be explored.
The course will provide practical drawing applications tailored to students’ individual artistic goals and projects, reflecting methods commonly practiced by contemporary artists. Historical art precedents and accomplished reference works will further reinforce learning concepts and techniques.
