Drawing Glass: A 5-Week Creative Course at Blowfish GlassFancy trying something a little different? Join us for a five-week drawing course exploring the beauty and complexity of glass, from its reflections and transparency to its colour, texture and sculptural forms.
Led by local artist Sarah Goudie, the course will take place at Blowfish Glass Gallery, surrounded by our international exhibition of 60 contemporary glass artworks, in the beautiful historic setting of the Red House Glass Cone.
Each week we’ll explore a different theme, using pencil, charcoal, chalk and a variety of wet and dry materials to experiment with drawing 3D objects and discovering new techniques.
Our five weekly themes:
* Form & Shadows
* Colour & Reflections
* Refractions & Transparency
* Texture & Pattern
* Micro to Macro
Whether you already love drawing or simply fancy trying something new, this is a lovely opportunity to slow down, get creative, learn new skills and enjoy an inspiring gallery setting. No previous experience is needed.
