About this Event
London Interiors & Cafes with Natasha Lien
London has long inspired artists with its vibrant street life, historic pubs, charming cafés and world-class museums. This course invites you to explore the city through an artist’s eyes, drawing creative energy from its unique character and rich artistic heritage. Each week, the group will visit a different pre-arranged indoor location across London, from museums to cafés, using a range of media including watercolour, oil paint, pastel and drawing materials. Alongside practical work, you’ll reflect on artists who have been shaped by these spaces, developing your own response to the urban environment.
Working as part of a supportive and lively group, you’ll build confidence in drawing and painting on location. Suitable for all abilities. Students are required to bring their own materials and should refer to the materials list below before their course starts.
