Leonard Cockayne devised a schema for native plant conservation at Ōtari. On this walk with Dr Carol West, you’ll learn about the four elements of the scheme and see examples of those that he specifically oversaw the establishment of, along with others that have been implemented more recently.Meet at Tāne Whakapiripiri, Ōtari Visitor Centre. It is easy walking and family groups are welcome. We ask that dogs stay at home for everyones comfort and a smooth tour experience.
