Dr Ishani's Vegan Mental Health book launch (Birmingham)

I would love to invite you to celebrate the launch of my new book, "Choosing Compassion: Surviving Burnout in Vegan Activism"!
My name is Dr Ishani Rao and I am an NHS GP and vegan activist. My goal is to help vegans remain motivated and passionate in a non-vegan world. I thoroughly enjoy being on the right side of history on the journey towards animal liberation and planetary protection. I know it can be difficult; it is normal to sometimes feel frustrated and isolated. I have therefore compiled a handbook of simple, scientifically-proven methods to allow us to stay healthy and happy as animal rights activists.
Over the past decade, I have hosted talks about veganism for the Royal College of GP's, Boomtown Festival, Plant Based Health Professionals, Eco Medics, Vegan Camp Out, VegFest and more.
Omnom have kindly allowed me to host a book launch at their beautiful restaurant. I will introduce the book, host a Q&A, and then we can enjoy delicious food and drinks together. I will be hosting a book signing at the end of the event with the opportunity to buy your copy.
To align with my values,
- 10% of profits will be donated to vegan charities
- This book is printed on recycled paper with vegan ink and glue
- I have published with The Vegan Publisher
- This book will not be available on Amazon, which will make sales more difficult!
I would so appreciate your attendance at this book launch to help me support this project which is so close to my heart. Activism comes in all different forms, and we should be able to have fun whilst making the world better.
Details will be posted soon about confirming attendance and pre-orders. This event will run from 7pm-9pm. I can't wait to see you there!
