About this Event
Supporting Neurodivergent Women
An in-person event for women who are diagnosed, self-identifying or wondering if they are neurodivergent. If you have always felt different and want to understand more about yourself, this event may help.
The presentation will be lead by a local counsellor/psychotherapist with professional and lived experience of neurodivergence and navigating late diagnosis.
The focus of this session will be to explore some of the social and emotional challenges that impact our communication and relationships. The aim is to expand self-awareness and consider communication strategies, to support and improve your relationships with others (friends, partners, family, work).
This session is about women's experiences, but you are welcome to bring friends or family who may also benefit from learning more, or who just want to be there to support you.
Please note: There are many forms of neurodivergence, but the content of this event will focus mainly on being autistic/ADHD/AuDHD.
