Meet our special guests: Osbanis Tejeda (Cuba) & Anneta Kepka (Poland):
Based in London, Osbanis and Anneta are internationally recognised Cuban dance artists, teachers, choreographers and performers. They are World and UK Champions and have taught and performed in more than 40 countries across 6 continents.
They are the founders of Deakocan Dance, established in London in 2009, and are known for their unique Cuban style and strong focus on musicality.
Their dance brings together Casino, Son, Rumba and Afro-Cuban movement, creating a special mix of styles and expressions.
With Osbanis' background as a Cuban musician and dancer, and Anneta's technical skills and expressive movement, they bring a deep understanding of Cuban music and culture to their classes.
Their approach goes beyond learning steps. They teach dancers how to listen to the music, understand its rhythms and express it through movement, combining technique, musicality, energy and sentimiento.
