✨ Downtown Goes DISNEY this October First Friday in Macon! ✨Get ready for a magical night downtown! On October 2nd, we're turning downtown Macon into the most enchanting place on earth to celebrate "Disney on Ice", which is coming to the Macon Centreplex from October 30-November 1! From Disney-inspired character meet and greets to a window scavenger hunt where you can win tickets to Disney on Ice, to Lady and the Tramp-style meatballs and meeting rescue pups, there's plenty to do for the whole family! 🎫 How to win tickets and where to start? (5-7 PM)
Win tickets to Disney on Ice! Pick up a Character Scavenger Hunt card at the Robins Financial tent in Poplar Street Park (near Taste & See) and complete the hunt for a chance to win. You can also enter the raffle for tickets at the Robins Financial tent. (TWO ways to WIN!). You may even find your first meet-and-greet character there!
🏰 Free Family Fun for Everyone:
-Character Scavenger Hunt (5-7 PM):
Go on a scavenger hunt to find characters in the windows of downtown businesses! Pick up your clue card from the Robins Financial Credit Union tent between 5pm and 7pm to make your way through downtown. We will also be doing Disney on Ice ticket giveaways! More details to come!
- Meet Your Favorite Character(5-7 PM):
👑 Meet fairytale friends inspired by Aladdin, Encanto, Frozen, Moana, and Princess and the Frog, throughout downtown! Can you guess who's coming...the girl who wears glasses and loves her magical family, an ice queen and her sister, plus their snowman friend who loves warm hugs, a girl who answers the call of the ocean to save her island and a hardworking princess who kissed a frog and became one herself!
- Downtown Disney Inspired Specials & Events:
🍝 Bearfoot Tavern (4-8 PM)— Lady & the Tramp-style meatball & spaghetti special, plus meet rescue pups in the beer garden. Bring your own pup! Donate dog/cat food or shelter supplies to Pawsome Southern Rescue for 10% off
🐟 Longleaf Distillery — Grab a "Dori Drink" from Finding Nemo at (Peach Liqueur, Southland Gin, blueberry & orange syrup, brandied cherry) before or after you do the meet & greets
