Día de los Muertos is more than a festival… It is a moment to remember, honor, learn, celebrate and come together…
Whether this tradition has been part of your family for generations or you’ve simply wondered what Día de los Muertos is truly about, we welcome you…

🕯️ Visit our Community Altar and bring a photo of a loved one — or even a beloved pet — who is no longer with us
And please make time to step inside the Alabama Center for the Arts ❤️ Students from schools throughout Decatur City will have beautiful altars on display that they designed and created themselves… Walk through, admire their work and see how our younger generations are learning about and honoring this beautiful tradition…
This is what makes Día de los Muertos in Downtown Decatur so special…
It’s not simply an event to attend… It is a place where memories are shared, loved ones are remembered, culture is celebrated and neighbors who may know nothing about this tradition are welcomed in to learn…
Bring your familia… Bring your friends… Bring a photograph… Bring a memory 🕯️🌼
Come spend the evening with us and experience the one-of-a-kind Día de los Muertos festival that Downtown Decatur has come to know and love…
Todos son bienvenidos ❤️ Everyone is welcome…
