Join the Awaken Travel Club for an easy evening walk to see downtown Chattanooga dressed up for Christmas.
We meet at 4:30 PM in the lobby of the Chattanooga Choo Choo to see its big tree. From there we grab hot chocolate nearby, then walk up Market Street to Miller Park (or hop on the free CARTA downtown shuttle) to see the Festive Forest as the sun goes down, including our own tree. We'll take a group photo, stop by the EPB holiday windows, and finish in the Read House lobby before heading back to the Choo Choo. It's about 1.5 miles round trip at an easy pace, and we should wrap up around 6:30 PM.
Park in the Choo Choo lot or the shuttle garage next to it. Wear comfortable shoes and dress warm. Friends are welcome.
