Join us for the 2025 Downtown Akron Sakura Festival along the Towpath in downtown Akron, including Locks 1, 2 and 3, the Towpath Trailhead at Spaghetti Warehouse, the James R. Williams Tower in Ohio & Erie Canal Park, and The Mustill Store. The festival is free and open to all. This event is RAIN or SHINE.

This year's festival will feature:

LIVE PERFORMANCES
Performers will be at various hubs throughout the festival. To allow you to experience as many as possible, many performances are held multiple times throughout the festival day.
SPAGHETTI WAREHOUSE
• Ryukyukoku Matsuri Taiko Drummers – 1:00, 2:20, 4:20 pm – 30 minute sets
• Columbus Koto Ensemble – 1:40, 3:00 pm – 30 minute sets
• Yasu Japanese Storytelling – 3:40, 5:00, 6:30 pm – 30 minute sets
• Kiraly Fencing Academy: Kendo & Iaido Demonstration – 5:40 pm – 30 minutes
LOCK 3
• Sho-Jo-Ji Japanese Dancers – 1:00, 2:20, 3:40 pm – 30 minute sets
• Yume Daiko Drummers – 1:40, 3:00, 4:20 pm – 30 minute sets
• J-ART BAND – 6:00 pm – 90 minute set
WILLIAMS TOWER
• Rachel Roberts – 2:00, 3:00, 4:00 pm – 30 minute sets
MUSTILL STORE
• Jen Maurer – 1:30, 2:30, 3:30 pm – 30 minute sets
