Join Certified Ohio Naturalist and Certified Ohio Master Gardener Lee Paulson for a walk along the Ohio & Erie Canalway Towpath Trail and discover the natural beauty and the history of this urban green space.
Paulson will share facts about the geology of Northeast Ohio and the Cuyahoga Valley, the history of the Ohio & Erie Canal, the birth of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, what's growing along the towpath today, and a horticulturist's knowledge about the beautiful Japanese cherry trees and how they got here.
