Down River Blues brings their own interpretation of Texas-style blues music, with a mix of blues standards, original tunes, and plenty of surprises. Fronted by Wabaseemoong First Nation guitarist Isaac Mandamin—whose fiery leads take influence from Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, and Colin James—the band offers a variety of uptempo numbers and heavy, soulful slow jams. The trio is anchored by two veteran musicians: Brennan Saul, a versatile drummer with years of international touring under his belt, and Tommy Stucky, whose musical journey spans decades of bluegrass, rock, and local blues. From start to finish, Down River Blues delivers a straight-up good time!
