Please note that Perimeter Institute is a participating site for the City of Waterloo’s Lumen Festival, also taking place on Saturday, September 19. Lumen runs from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM in the Uptown Waterloo area. Lumen is a separate outdoor evening event. Tickets are not required to attend.

We’re proud to be a featured site in Doors Open Waterloo Region - A day of discovery: tour local destinations including noteworthy buildings, interesting places, and heritage sites.
Doors Open at Perimeter - Saturday, September 19
Tickets: Time-slotted event with entry every 30 minutes, from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM (last entry at 3:30 PM). Admission is free, but registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
What to Expect: Explore interactive science stations in highlighted spaces throughout the building, meet researchers, and have a seat in our Mike Lazaridis Theatre of Ideas to hear about Perimeter's history and what it takes to build a world-class physics institute from scratch.
