About this Event
1200 Flavors & The National Hip Hop Museum present DOOMsday — A Flavor Summit Tribute to MF DOOM
Step into the world of the Metal-Faced Villain for a day celebrating the music, artistry, comics, culture, and unmistakable creative universe of MF DOOM.
On Sunday, November 29, 2026, 1200 Flavors.com and The National Hip Hop Museum bring DOOMsday to Baltimore’s The Garage at R-House for an all-day Flavor Summit experience inspired by one of hip-hop’s most influential and enigmatic figures.
THE DISCUSSIONS
Go beyond the mask and inside the legacy with conversations featuring people who knew, worked with, and documented DOOM:
Kurious — longtime friend, recording artist, and collaborator — joins us for a personal conversation about DOOM, their music, friendship, and creative journey.
Team Demolition Music — the production team and early collaborators who recorded MF DOOM's iconic album Doomsday — will share stories and insight from the early days.
S.H. Fernando Jr. — author of Chronicles of Doom: Unraveling Rap's Masked Iconoclast — brings the perspective of the writer who chronicled DOOM’s remarkable story and lasting influence.
COSPLAY SHOWCASE
Powered by Hip-Icon, aka Hip Hop's Comic-Con, the DOOMsday Cosplay Showcase invites the masked, the mysterious, and the creatively fearless to step into the spotlight.
Featuring all-star judges representing cosplay, comics, video games, and hip-hop, the showcase celebrates the characters and creative worlds that helped shape DOOM’s imagination and the culture around him.
Come dressed as your favorite DOOM persona, comic-book character, video-game icon, or pop-culture legend — and bring your creativity!
