Procession are an old-school death-doom metal band from Latvia. Formed in 1993, the band released several demos before disappearing into a decades-long hiatus.
After reuniting in 2022, Procession returned to both the stage and the studio, eventually releasing their long-awaited debut album, "This Side of the River". The album won the Latvian Music Recording Award for Best Metal Album in 2024.
That same year, Procession performed in Tallinn at Sรผgis Extreme Fest. Now, after a two-year absence, they return to The Krypt to present their new album, Shadows Have Fiends.
