This fun class will spark your imagination as you learn a variety of techniques in sewing colorful beads and items onto fabric. Create your own personal and unique works of art. No previous experience necessary. You will leave with a pin to wear or bookmark (this would be a fun book club event!!) or cuff bracelet and enough knowledge and inspiration to continue your journey with beads!Artist Susan Germer has been enjoying this art form since 1994. “I love the improvisational aspect of ‘painting with beads’ and respect the meditative quality of the experience.”
All supplies provided. Your take-home-kit will include Beading Needle, Thread, Fabric, Pin Back, Beeswax and Beads Beads Beads! There will be a library of reference materials to inspire you. Feel free to bring your own special beads or buttons.
