China Grove is a fantastic Doobie Brothers tribute band who’s repertoire spans the many decades and styles of the legendary California group.
From the jammin’ rock of “Long Train Runnin” to the jazzy “Takin’ it to the Streets”, to the Grammy award winning pop of “What a Fool Believes”, this group blazes through a sizzling set of memory-jarring classic hits and album cuts with stunning accuracy and passion. Let’s just say these guys “bring it”!
The band is led by vocalist/ guitarist J Todd Plant, who fronted a band featuring Doobie Brothers alumni Chet McCracken, the late Cornelius Bumpus and the late Dave Shogren, doing the hits of the Doobies all across America. He’s also worked with members of Chicago, Steely Dan, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Firefall, Marshall Tucker Band, Tom Petty Band, Rick Derringer, and was the voice of Hulk Hogan’s fight song “American Made”.
China Grove has played to thousands of fans across the US at massive festivals and top venues like House Of Blues at Disney!
37 Special
This is one of the very few 38 Special tribute bands on earth! Comprised of the members of Doobie Brothers Tribute China Grove and Santana tribute Supernatural, this group gives clients another bullet in the chamber! 38 Special was a unique Southern Rock band that focused on writing polished, sophisticated hit songs, setting them apart from the crowded Southern Rock field.
37 Special’s rapid-fire barrage of memory-jarring hits include “Hold On Loosely”, “Fantasy Girl”, “Somebody Like You”, “Rockin’ Into the Night”, “Back Where You Belong”, “Back to Paradise” and of course #1 hits “Caught up in You” and “If I’d Been the One”. Held at the Pavilion Center at Whispering Oaks Winery a special concert venue with some seating provided, delicious food and some of Florida's best wine (details on ticket link). Whispering Oaks Winery is an idyllic location for a concert. Enjoy music in a picturesque setting under the oak trees with comfortable seating while enjoying a delicious dinner and some of Florida's best wine. Whispering oaks is renown for creating all natural wines with the freshest Florida blueberries to make a great blend of organic nectar that tantalizes and teases the taste buds. All this makes for a unique and special concert experience...Events held under the Pavilion are outdoors but sheltered. Seating for VIP only, general admission are encouraged to bring comfortable lawn chairs.
