About this Event
DON'T SKIP THE CREDITS!
The jobs you never knew existed. The creative world you never knew was there.
Ever stayed to watch the credits at the end of a film?
Hundreds of names scrolling past. But who are these people? What do they actually do? And how on earth did they get those jobs?
Who gets paid to make dinosaurs roar, invent imaginary worlds, design trainers, create a music video or turn a completely ridiculous idea into something amazing?
Welcome to the creative industries. A world of extraordinary jobs, surprising opportunities and career journeys that rarely follow a straight line.
We're going behind the scenes of film, music, gaming, fashion, design and much more to discover the people who make things happen, including some jobs you've probably never heard of.
We'll also explore how people actually get into these industries. Do you need a degree? Can you learn on the job? What if you haven't got experience, money or useful contacts? And where do you even begin?
Expect some unexpected discoveries, a few laughs and a different way of looking at the world of work.
Because sometimes the most interesting opportunities are the ones you didn't know existed.
