Where Love in Motion Began.
Twenty years ago, a group of runners made an extraordinary commitment: to train 26.2 miles with Donna in support of Donna Deegan’s journey through breast cancer. What began as people choosing to run alongside Donna became a movement that has inspired thousands to move together in the name of hope.
Today, 26.2 with DONNA The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer® remains the only marathon in the United States dedicated exclusively to finishing breast cancer. Every mile honors the spirit of those first training runs while helping The DONNA Foundation provide hope, support, and financial relief to individuals and families living with breast cancer.
Run for a Boston Qualifier. Run to earn Abbott World Marathon Majors Age Group World Ranking points. Run in memory. Run in celebration. Run because love is always stronger than fear.
This is where a movement began. This is Love in Motion.
