Our Mission
Dogs Helping Heroes is a nonprofit organization committed to restoring lost freedom and peace of mind to wounded veterans, first responders, and Gold Star families through the gift of specially trained and certified assistance dogs.
We proudly rescue dogs from local shelters and partners, giving them a second chance and a meaningful purpose. These remarkable dogs go on to provide companionship, stability, and support to the heroes they serve.
About the Event
“Be at Ease” brings together community members, supporters, and Hero Teams for an unforgettable evening of fellowship, fundraising, and celebration. The funds raised help provide the training and placement of assistance dogs while raising awareness of the life-changing impact these dogs have on the heroes they serve.
Last year, we welcomed 225 guests and raised more than $38,000 to help pair trained service dogs with wounded veterans and first responders. With your support, we hope to make an even greater impact this year!
Come enjoy a great night for an even greater cause.
