Halloween is going to the dogs — and we’re making an afternoon out of it.
Join us at Sit Happens Dog Training for our Doggy Trunk or Treat + Dog Costume Contest, a FREE Halloween event packed with dogs, costumes, treats, professional pictures, shopping, prizes, decorated trunks, and plenty of questionable humans. 😂
📅 Saturday, October 24, 2026
⏰ 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
📍 Sit Happens Dog Training
🎟️ FREE ADMISSION
✅ Preregistration encouraged
✅ Walk-ins welcome
🍬 WALK-THROUGH DOGGY TRUNK OR TREAT
Bring your dog and make your way through our decorated trunks while your pup collects dog-friendly treats along the way.
No need to rush through — come hang out, check out the decorations, meet other dog people, and enjoy Halloween with your dog.
🎭 DOG COSTUME CONTEST
Dress your dog up and show us what you’ve got!
We’ll be awarding prizes and trophies in SIX categories:
🏆 Best Overall
😂 Funniest
👻 Spookiest
🎨 Most Creative
🐕👤 Best Dog + Human
🐾 Sit Happens Award
Go ridiculous. Go creepy. Go creative. Coordinate with your dog. We want to see it all.
And yes — humans are absolutely encouraged to dress up too.
📸 PAW-FECT PORTRAITS
Professional Halloween Pet Photos
This is not a photo booth.
We’ll have a dedicated Halloween portrait setup where you can get professionally photographed Halloween pictures of your dog.
Quick walk-in portraits will be photographed during the event, professionally edited afterward, and delivered within one week.
Dress them up, bring their favorite expression, and let us handle the picture. 📸🐶
🦴 TRICK FOR A TREAT
Can your dog do something cool?
Show us!
Sit.
Down.
Spin.
Shake.
High five.
Speak.
Play dead.
Or whatever strange little talent your dog has figured out. 😂
Do the trick → get the treat.
🚙 DECORATED TRUNKS
The trunks are part of the fun too!
Expect Halloween decorations, lights, themes, treats, and plenty of opportunities for pictures as you make your way through the event.
We’ll also be recognizing a Best Decorated Trunk, so the people decorating are allowed to get competitive too. 🎃
🛍️ SHOP SPECIALS + HALLOWEEN FUN
While you’re here, stop inside Sit Happens and check out the shop.
We’ll have:
🐾 Dog treats
🦴 Toys
👕 Apparel
🐕 Dog gear & accessories
🎃 Halloween fun
🛍️ Event-day shop specials
And probably a few things your dog will convince you they desperately need.
🐶 WHO CAN COME?
All dogs. All people. All are welcome here.
You do not have to currently train with Sit Happens to attend.
Come with your dog, come with the family, meet other dog people, check out Sit Happens, and spend the afternoon celebrating Halloween with us.
