About this Event
Join us for an exclusive screening of The Ebony Canal, a compelling documentary narrated by Academy Award-winning icon Viola Davis. This masterful cinematic poem delves into the disparities of infant mortality and maternal health affecting Black and Brown women. Featuring insights from Former VP Kamala Harris, Lamman Rucker, Kimberly Seals Allers, Charles Johnson, and leading experts, the film reveals the pain, resilience, and hope within this journey.
This screening is a “Proud To Pay Event.” Tickets are free, but donations are welcome to support the work of 9 Atlanta-based maternal health nonprofit organizations. The proceeds of the evening will be split and donated to each organization. Please help us sell out this event!
Despite the challenges, The Ebony Canal aims to inspire solution-driven practices and drive meaningful change in maternal health. Be part of the movement to save Black and Brown mothers and their babies.
