The Annual Conference on Breastfeeding returns for a 35th year!
Registration is available for the following offerings:
-April 14 Pre-conference: 'Breastfeeding Fundamentals for Healthcare Providers' course
-April 15-16 Conference: 2 days of learning from local and national experts
-Recordings On-demand: Access the recordings from the conference (April 15-16) on demand. Recordings will be posted in mid/late April and will be available for 60 days after posting. This option is included with conference registration OR can be purchased separately for those who cannot attend the conference in-person.
What:
For the 35th year, Emory University is pleased to offer a dynamic and engaging conference on breastfeeding in collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, hospitals across the region, and partners from community organizations on April 15 & 16.
We are offering a pre-conference course in partnership with the EPIC® Breastfeeding Program: 'Breastfeeding Fundamentals for Healthcare Providers' on April 14.
Who:
Our conference is geared toward multidisciplinary colleagues who care for mothers and infants: Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Nurses, Dietitians, therapists, lactation consultants, WIC counselors, and more!
The pre-conference course is intended to build the skills of those who are not directly trained or practicing in lactation. Physicians, APPs, and nurses, among others, will benefit!
Trainees are welcome! Medical students, residents, fellows, nursing and NP students, or lactation trainees who can demonstrate a pathway, may attend the pre-conference and/or in-person conference at a reduced rate or access the recordings at no charge. The Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta, GA. Rooms are available at discounted rate of $189 here: https://book.passkey.com/event/BFC2025. Post-conference, 60-day access to recordings is included with the in-person conference registration OR can be purchased separately for those who cannot join in-person.
